jc78_2005 #1 Posted December 7, 2012 so clearly the sports library is not among the favs here lol. so what do most of you play on the 7800? Lately for me, its been Robotron, Mario Bros, and starting to get some Scrapyard Dog game time in.
NIKON #2 Posted December 7, 2012 If by originals you mean non homebrew? 1. Asteroids 2. Robotron 2084 3. Food Fight 4. F14 Tomcat Those are what I am currently playing on a regular basis

Atarifever #8 Posted December 7, 2012 play bobs games mostly.. I think that's true for most of us. I kind of had to stop and think about the answer to this question because I almost typed "Moon Cresta." Then I was like, wait, no, that's Bob. Pacman... wait Bob. Space In.... Geez. Of course ,B*nQ and Beef Drop would also be on the list, so it isn't just Bob's games, but it sure ain't mostly Atari made games.
+Trebor #9 Posted December 7, 2012 (edited) If by "Original games" you are referring to non-self-published/homebrew titles, the original retail line only, then being an owner of the 7800 over the span of 20-25 years, I would have to list the top 12 (Not necessarily in this order though) as: 01. Karateka* 02. Joust 03. Centipede 04. Ms. Pac-Man 05. Galaga 06. Dig Dug 07. Choplifter 08. Pole Position II 09. Xevious 10. Robotron 2084 11. Food Fight 12. Winter Games Mostly because those were the game I actually owned (Plus a few others) in the late 80's. Those 12 probably received an equal amount of play time. However, factor in emulation and gameplay centered on late 90's (Thank you Internet and O'Shea's 40 cents a game) until present, the list would look something more like this: 01. Xevious 02. Scrapyard Dog 03. Midnight Mutants 04. Karateka* 05. Food Fight 06. Joust 07. Commando 08. Dig Dug 09. Dark Chambers 10. Winter Games 11. Centipede 12. Xenophobe *Yes, I like Karateka - In fact, it is one of my favortie games on the 7800. ET is one of my favs on the 2600, and Spelunker is one of my favs on the NES... Indiana Quack #10 Posted December 8, 2012 Centipede would have to be number one for the 2 player on the screen support at the same time! But just like a lot of other people have stated, I play Bob's games more than the original Atari games. 1. Centipede 2. Kung Fu Master 3. Galaga
