nitrosport #1 Posted December 13, 2012 (edited) I just got my flashback 2 that I bought on ebay. I was planning to add a cartridge port to it but it doesn't have the solder points numbered on it. It's different than any of the boards I found online so after some research, I found out it was pirated. I didn't even know there were pirated flashback 2's. Does anyone have the schematics to add a cartridge port to this thing or do I have to buy another one? EDIT: I meant to post this in hardware, Can a mod please move this? Sorry for the mix-up. toptenmaterial #2 Posted December 13, 2012 I think that the pirated ones have the NES-on-a-chip, so no, modding is out. Sorry. Talk the the original seller and ask for some of your cash back (he may have been duped too, those things were widely pirated).
nitrosport #3 Posted December 14, 2012 I'll talk to the seller but I'm pretty sure he didn't know about it. It looks exactly the same on the outside. On a side not, It there any way to know the difference between a legit and pirate by looking at the case? what about a boxed one?
toptenmaterial #4 Posted December 14, 2012 ^^ That I do not know, however I read that even big commercial outlets got duped so maybe not. I'll consult google on this one.
nitrosport #5 Posted December 14, 2012 Ah I just figured it out. I searched google like 20 times but I finally found it. The R in the ATARI logo is different in the pirate. Thanks for the help!
