Fair price for an SNES

I agree original hardware is preferred. However it shouldn't be valued at double or triple the price of the clones. That's why I said as the price tries to climb, there's less incentive to go original. Plus the clone compatibility gets better all the time.

 

I think you're overstating the improvements in quality and understating the value in the original hardware. People pay more for the originals not just because they're better, but because they're much much better.
