José Pereira #2 Posted December 19, 2012 (edited) I hope you have, at least some small time to get into here. I still think that just can't get out of this, it's a real drug!... I think I assign your YouTube video so I would see what you're doing (if not I'll assign it today). Don't forget to post Smido 'The Cat' new videos, o.k.? All the best! Jose Pereira. P.s.- I always thought that you're really addicted to Nature and animals because of your videos (something we two have in common...). Dr Do #3 Posted December 19, 2012 (edited) get up every day.. every day turn on ATARI. follow news on the Internet, forums, pages, every day of last years.. i am tired computers, sio2sd, copying, writting mag, reading news.. again and again every day. i need something new, i need more relax. one year, or five years, i dont know. now its time to wildlife photography and theres no time for atari.. so i packed all of it and put to my little store.. see you sometime in future. My Atari was packed away for about 14 years before I rediscovered it! (It worked fine when I got it out again, which was fortunate as I'd taken no precautions against contact oxidation). As the saying goes, a change is as good as a rest. Enjoy the wildlife photograhy - I hope your intended muses are easier to capture on camera than my two cats. +Gemintronic #4 Posted December 19, 2012 For me, gaming and computing is a constant. I never even thought of focusing on one platform until I'm burnt out. Still, it takes all kinds. I wish the OP well.
+Firedawg #5 Posted December 19, 2012 One must listen to the inner being when life becomes repetitive and dull. There are days when I'm in my shop for hours upon hours, but enjoying it all the while, and then there are times when I never step a foot in there for weeks. I have learned to place priority and balance to all my activities, which keeps all of them fresh and enjoyable. Enjoy your hiatus, and we will be here when you return! atari8warez #8 Posted December 19, 2012 (edited) Don't forget about us... , and thank you once again for the Slovak translation for AspeQt. What kind of wildlife are you after?... I too enjoy outdoors, photography and fishing and when I go fishing sometimes i have the opportunity to shoot (no not with a gun but with a camera ) dear, foxes, beaver, variety of water fowl, and other kind of wildlife.... really enjoy seeing them come to the river bank to get their drink... Anyway, enjoy..... Edited December 19, 2012 by atari8warez
AtariLeaf #9 Posted December 20, 2012 I've been through it a few times in the last twenty years - collect for a few years and sell it. Few years later, get the bug again, start all over, play it for a few years, sell it. Oy. This time I was smarter. I just sold the stuff I don't play or collect. Better to store it (if I'm reading the OP correctly) than sell it because the itch WILL return.
