Atari 130XE Disk Game Incompatability?

There was a comment on old-computers.com about how the Atari 130XE didn't have full compatability with some disk based games.

Is this true? Has anyone experienced this themselves?

So many errors on that page and that includes the article.

Incompatability being referred to would be the same deal as XL, some games would only work with the 400/800 OS or Translator disk.

"The Atari 65-XE and 130-XE will have a very short life due to the 16 bit home computer competition" - XE came out like 1985 or so and continued sales/support until around 1991. In the context of even old school computing, 6 years is still a very long time. Call it more like 11-12 for the entire 8-bit series.

"A cousin owned one of these, with the Amy chip" - I highly doubt that claim.
