retroillucid #1 Posted December 24, 2012 We all have some talks about ColecoVision 2 ... Or call it a new CV Console Neo Geo got that threatment for their 20th Anniversary! (yeah, I'm a Neo Geo sucker!) The music theme they choose for the trailer is simply AWESOME! I think we should have the CV2 looking something around those ideas Anyway, that's my humble opnion! BTW: SNK ROCKS!
retroillucid #2 Posted December 24, 2012 Would like to add I will be willing to help producing the CV2 to make it reallity! I will even stop eating, sleeping and living just to see this happening
+Ransom #3 Posted December 24, 2012 Yep, a Colecovision 2 will be awesome. Having reliability, good output, a reasonable power supply, and SGM capability built-in would be a huge gift (although Yurkie has helped the community quite a bit with the first two). I can dream of having more awesomeness packed in there (2600 compat., ergonomic controllers...), but I will be happy even without those sorts of things. Edited to add: I just finished watching the video. That is indeed awesome! A portable, a console, a controller, and 20 games! With HDMI, etc, etc. Yow! Don't bother of the bad comments of the Neo Geo X and buy yourself one! Amazing stuff! Unless you have an AES or even MVS .... Neo Geo X is for you
hardhat #6 Posted December 24, 2012 Very cool. Well I believe that this might be the sort of thing that River West Brands wants ultimately. So that's good at least. The trick is to license the arcade hits from the various rights holders.

I really can't believe something like that slipped past me. Hopefully you get an older version. They are already hacking this device, apparently the older version (less than 370, which I ended up with) has a mini cf card inside. The 370s removed the card. It's only been available since December 18th...so I'm hopeful that I'll get my hands on a first gen edition. Guess I'll find out Thursday. Got any links for info on those hacks by chance? NIAD #14 Posted December 24, 2012 Love the idea of it being a handheld that comes with a replica docking station with input and output functionality... the best of both worlds, at home and on the go!

What is your favorite games/series? Metal slug is probably my favorite, need to explore more of the games. I've got: 2 home systems, an MVS to AES converter, 3 or 4 MVS boards that I'm slowing consoling (I've put in uni bios and have superguns for them) I also have a couple of MVS multi carts. Jaymiester #24 Posted December 24, 2012 I had the same problem....opens to a you tube page that has an unknown video codec. Didn't work for me in Explorer or Chrome. I went to the manufacturer's website and checked out their video.

This is the AES next best thing Just checked price of Metal Slug AES cart Those real Neo Geo collectors are plain crazy! ......... And rich!!! go consolizeded, less than $100 bucks for MB, supegun around $30, pc power supply cheap, build your own JS, 150 in 1 multi cart $100. So $250 an you have a great system with 150 game, and if you decided to buy other carts the mvs carts are pretty cheap I picked some up for $5. Also, you might want a uni bios ( switch US and other regions, change lives, etc), you can get for free if you can burn an eprom:).
