Curt Vendel Posted January 14, 2013 Author Share Posted January 14, 2013 HI everyone, well I've met with the surgeon and he has a specialist who's discussing a plan. Because this would be my 4th heart surgery, they are very concerned with the risk so they are seeing if they can do in with a non-invasive procedure going up through an artery through my groin and using camera's and catheters to go up inside my heart to repair, or if they deem necessary, replace my mitral valve, I'm hoping for word on a date for the surgery today. I'm on a whole bunch of medications to keep me stable for now, but I really want to get this fixed and behind me so I can get back to my life and back to work. 15 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It' s not true, and it comes across as patronizing and minimizing the gravity of the situation -- at least to me. Maybe it' s because I see so much illness at work and have had a lot of bad health issues in my family, I' m not sure. But I guess it could have gone unsaid. Sorry to offend. This is atariage not pms age. Sorry to hear of your family's health problems doctom and I mean that. Staying positive is good to do and is proven scientifically to help in a number of situations..
