bigdcaldavis2k Posted February 11, 2003 Share Posted February 11, 2003 Last night and this morning, I worked on a hack of Atari 5200 Asteroids. I was inspired by the pseudo-vector hacks of the 2600 version of Asteroids. I used ShowGFX/EditGFX (these 2 programs work with Atari 5200 and Atari 8-bit computer games) and changed the graphics of the asteroids and the spaceship and gave them a pseduo-vector graphics look. I actually think the game seems better this way. The game has been uploaded to AtariAge and my 2 Yahoo! Groups : ClassicRetroGaming (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ClassicRetroGaming) and ClassicRetroGaming2 (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ClassicRetroGaming2).
