guitarmas #1 Posted January 6, 2013 I've looked and looked, but I simply cannot find any sites that sell case modifications for the original xbox. Can anyone help me?

OldSchoolRetroGamer #3 Posted January 6, 2013 That's cool. Really getting into original Xbox lately (heh Thanks MARK!) I decided to clean up the only one I have at the moment, dismantled the entire case and ran it through the dish washer WOW! That saved a lot of elbow grease. Hate it or love it the Xbox case has a lot of grooves and pits making Qtips and scrubbing a major undertaking especially with a case that was as grimy as mine was (from former owner) it looks great now except a couple scuffs on the lid, thought one of those vinyl case skins might look good to cover that up. I got an xbox from Mark too. Mine was in immaculate condition. No scuffs or grime anywhere. I've heard of a company called XCM that used to put out some pretty cool cases. I think they've quit making them for the original xbox.

Actually I was referring to just a HDD I got from Mark, I DO have a complete Xbox on the way from Mark (decided to have a back up!) but I am still waiting on that, hopefully soon but Canada customs can be a bitch. The one on the way is very clean already though so I wont have to bother again.

the.golden.ax #7 Posted January 7, 2013 Yeah the XCM stuff was nice. I have some of that for GameCube and they are the preferred shell of choice on that system. I can only imagine that the quality was there for the Xbox versions as well. Too bad they don't think classic systems are popular enough to keep making shells for some of the older stuff. the.golden.ax #9 Posted January 7, 2013 It took me a minute but I found the clear green, and clear. It was under our noses the whole time.
