DaytonaUSA #1 Posted January 11, 2013 (edited) Up for sale is an extremely rare Atari Jaguar rental kit. There were two cases produced, and this is the one that's harder to find (has the claw marks on the "R" of Jaguar, and the holographic sticker). The set is in immaculate condition. There wasn't even any dust on the console when I bought it a couple weeks ago (so I doubt it was used much, if at all), and there are no scratches on the surface that I can find. It's like it's new. Controllers are like new as well. The outside of the storage case has some dirt on it from storage, but is otherwise in tip top shape. Kit comes with console, 2 controllers (grey button variety), RF adapter, and AC adapter, all original to the kit. No replacement parts included. It's been tested and runs perfectly. $500 plus shipping (not insulted by offers, everyone ) Jaguar Games: Loose - Fever Pitch Soccer - $9 Loose - Cybermorph (some sticker residue on label)- $6 Loose - Dino Dudes - $10 Jewel Case & Manual - Dragon's Lair for Jaguar CD - $35 Edited January 11, 2013 by DaytonaUSA
icemanxp300 #2 Posted January 11, 2013 Is there anything special about that system? Any special markings or is the case the only thing that is special? If not thats one expensive case
adolobe #3 Posted January 11, 2013 Highly over priced. The case alone only goes for about 150 these days. Plus didnt you just buy this for under $20

adolobe #5 Posted January 11, 2013 (edited) Now be fair. What he paid shouldn't matter but what it's worth does. True true, my apologies but still the case and system is no where close to $500. Heck there is a case on ebay right now for $200 Edited January 11, 2013 by adolobe
DaytonaUSA #6 Posted January 11, 2013 Then make an offer. I've always been open to them. Honestly, I've never been offended by a single offer I've ever received. There are no special markings that I can see from the system.. then again I don't honestly know what a regular jag looks like. But you are getting a case, and a literally mint condition system. The system is worth at least 120 imho, and if the case is worth 200... then it's still worth a good chunk of change. I put that price out there because no one could give me a clear price of what it was worth on my threads on this site and other sites. Again, I don't know too much about Jags, so forgive my stupidity lol. Make an offer though. And I would consider including the cart games with the system, guys. busterm #7 Posted January 12, 2013 You Jag cart prices are right. Dragons Lair is worth about $20 with out the Long box the case about 150-200 depending on the market. Truthfully its worth more internationally as France Germany collectors tend to pay more for these items from my selling over the past few years. All together I would put the collection at around $340 domestic $375 international. This is just based off my selling of over 1000 Jaguar items over the last 24 months on ebay, atariage, racketboy, assembler, retrocollect and JSII Still all and all worth a good bit of change
DaytonaUSA #8 Posted January 12, 2013 Thanks for the help. I'll leave the prices up for now as I'm in a possible trade deal. If that falls through, I'll edit the prices a bit.
