christianscott #1 Posted February 12, 2003 this is a long shot but dammit i need to know what i've got here. it looks like a NEO GEO AES controller (big black, arcade style stick) and its called "IMP super 328 intelligent mega power stick". it has big A,B,C buttons with rapid buttons over them and select, start buttons at the top. the bottom has A or B mode switch and a hatch for 4 AAs. the edge facing away from the player has 9 pin joystick style port, a DIN pin like you would see on a sega CD and then a mystery port covered with a plate that has some sort of 12 pin connector slot. gosh its mystery to me, i picked it up a flea markey for a couple of bucks thinking it was a genesis arcade stick. now i suspect it maybe one of those controllers with buit in games but i lack the connector to hook it up to a TV. Invader_dag #2 Posted February 12, 2003 when you say DIN connector, do you mean like the old PC keyboards used to use, or like the av/out for the sega genesis(model 2 that is)???
christianscott #3 Posted February 12, 2003 to precise its like the cable on the sega cd model 2 or the video out on the nomad. its roughly like the crude illustration below, with the number signs representing the pin holes and equal sign being the notch at the top. = (# # #) (# ##) ( # #)

christianscott #7 Posted February 12, 2003 i'll see what i can do, my own digital cam takes lousy pics but i will try and get my friend over here with his megapixel cam. in the mean time anybody know any good sources to find info on genny/mega drive clones? a google attempt yeilded 1000's of pages on the x-man clone wars game and 100s on pirate themed sega games but no geniclones.
