ThunderFist #1 Posted January 17, 2013 I may be getting a Megatouch Video soon. Those were made in either 1994 or 1996, and the model I'm look at doesn't come with a key. You can open the game up in back, but it would be nice to have a key. Does anyone happen to know where I can get one for that particular model?
number six #2 Posted January 17, 2013 Unless it uses something funky and non-standard (which on a '90s model I doubt) just buy a new lock. You should be able to get one for under $10. I rarely get the keys with games.. or if I do they don't fit anyway
+iesposta #3 Posted January 17, 2013 (edited) I think he means the key for the board to let the game work. It is an actual physical key, but not the one to open up the machine... I can't believe those old games were never emulated or leaked. They just ran on 386's and 486's, and then went to CD-ROM drives and Hard Drives. The fact that they were controlled by touch screen I guess stopped the pirates. Edit: I got Megatouch Photo Hunt for iPhone and iPad when they went on sale, but it is not the full "bar versions" of course. Also I don't know where to get keys. ThunderFist #4 Posted January 19, 2013 I got a different machine, but the same model, from someone else and got keys with it. It was likely originally a Megatouch 4, since it has a manufacture date of 11/96, but it has a Megatouch 6 board in it, which is what I was looking for. ThunderFist #5 Posted January 19, 2013 By the way, the seller told me if I ever lose the keys, twistedquarter.com can supply me with new ones. Just in case anyone else encounters that with a Megatouch, I thought I would pass it along.
