Figure its that time of year where I ask the old question; Does anyone have a copy of FoReM-PC BBS Program from Matt Singer, the port of FoReM-ST?

I've been looking for this version of FoReM for as long as I can remember with no such luck.

If anyone is attempting a google or some such internet search, i've pretty much exhausted those avenues, and you will come across variances such as Forem, Forem 26M, Forem MPP, Forem XM301, Forem XL, Forem XE, Forem XEP, & Forem ST among others.

There is also a Forum BBS for the PC, but thats spelled with a "U" not an "E" and is not what I am looking for.

Any help here would be GREATLY appreciated.

If you find that ask him if he's got BB/ST as well (think it's done by Steven Grimm), been looking for it forever. Forum PC is one of the most heavily modified bbs sources ever. I remember a lot of boards being Forum varants back in the day. Not many Friends Of Rick E Moose PC boards that I can recall. I remember considering that as an option when I left my ST and got a 386 a long time ago.

Thanks for the replies.. I remember someone else a while back saying they contacted Singer and they were told he didn't have anything related to BBS's or Comnet anymore.. So I never really tried contacting him after that..

I think i'll attempt to this time..

Well I got a reply, kinda what i figured he would say -

"On 01/19/13 4:35 AM, Matthew Singer wrote:

I'm afraid I don't have anything laying around anymore. Been 23 years since I last played with that stuff."

So, I guess I keep looking and maybe someone will remember they have a copy... somewhere...

I checked with Jason Scott, but seems like he doesn't have it. I've got to believe there are still copies out there somewhere, maybe on a dead BBS in its file section or something.

It might be a wild goose chase, but maybe trolling some of the older remaining telnet BBSes might turn something up.

Or maybe some older CD collections? You know, the ones with a bazillion files on them...
