7800 compatible EPROM burners

[7800 Emucoder]

I know there are a few homebrew cart makers on here, so I'm looking for recommendations on EPROM burners for 7800 games for those who've used them. There are so many great hacks and unreleased or out of print homebrew 7800 and 2600 games out there, and I'd really like to learn how to make my own.

I happened across an old USB Needham's EMP-21. I love it but it's not easy to come by.

 

I also picked up a MiniPRO which seems to work fine. It's much newer, is supposed to be compatible with more devices, and is still being updated. I don't like the software nearly as much as the Needham's one, but I haven't spent as much time with it to get used to it. You can pick up a MiniPRO for a pretty decent price on ebay (approx $50 - $70 shipped). The price varies depending on how many adapters you get with it.

The 7800 uses very common EPROMs, pretty much any EPROM programmer should be able to handle them.

Stay away from anything that has willans in the description.

Depends on your budget, I had a batronix bx32 which was awesome and I really regret selling it.

Now I have a genius g540 which does the job well, but does not work with 64 bit version of windows 7
