Yeah man I had to check the bay myself, but sure enough Wayne's is nabbing prices that are outright ridiculous! What's wrong with people?!! Prices are pretty much decent here, though a bit high. Some good stuff though, no doubt.

I have no doubt that just like investments and housing we are going through a bubble.......I am seeing the same thing with 80's toys as well....prices are going through the roof on alot of things vintage from the 80's while prices are stabilizing for 70's toys......I thought we wouldn't see this jump until 4-5 more years so I hope this is just a mini bubble :)

Totes WILL HAPPEN. Give it about 5 years and it will calm down. What's so ironic is that, in such a bad economy where good jobs are scarce, people still pay for this stuff, often more than they should. Just look at how 2600 collecting has plunged over the past few years, it will happen. I'll just wait for that day to get some other things I still need. When I started collecting 2600 games again the market was damn high, now games that were a couple hundred I've gotten for what amounts to pennies.

Well, i thank god people still pay for this stuff as if it weren't so, i wouldn't be able to help my family in their time of need.

And i also dont think, at least in this case they are overpaying as i am underpriced on mostly all completed and current listings.
