mark #3 Posted February 13, 2003 why is it pal carts are less value than regular carts? what does pal stand for?
CPUWIZ #4 Posted February 13, 2003 It isn't that PAL carts are less valuable but this game is a lot more common in PAL. PAL is short for "Picture All Lousy". Seriously, PAL is the television standard for Europe and Australia.
MattyXB #5 Posted February 13, 2003 Yes, you find many more PAL carts here in germany (and other PAL countrys) then NTSC carts in USA. And there are sometimes on eBay.de In the moment is one on eBay.de with Box. And its not high. ATARI Spiel ------- OBELIX -------- in Ovp. I think manual is missing. He say nothing about a manual. Only the box. But he ship worldwide. But PAL is not working correct on NTSC TVs.

Thomas Jentzsch #7 Posted February 13, 2003 what does pal stand for? The answer is always right here on AtariAge. BTW: NTSC = Never The Same Color.
