Need game advice?

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I just scored some extra controllers (different types) (off ebay of course) for 2600. I only have jungle hunt and space invaders. Need a new game to test some of my stuff. But space invaders and jungle hunt only go left and right. Except for the water on jungle hunt. But that's too short and the gators make it hard to test.

What is a game for 2600 that moves all directions. Not just left and right but all directions?? And no rare ones either. I need some generic titles I can ebay for cheap.

Great for $22.52 I just scored what appears to be combat (label verison with no photo). And also sword quest fire world, bezerk, yars revenge, starmaster, warlords, footbsll, and E.T.. All those for $22.52 total with shipping. Are those ok games?

For controller testing I recommend Yar's Revenge, Indy 500, Warlords, Decathlon, and Hunt & Score. Cobra Strike is a decent choice, but it can be a little hard to find. Most of those games let you test controllers in both ports. They're cheap, easy to find, and fun. Decathlon is the oddity here. It, too, can be a little hard to find, but you can test a track ball with it.

And I just scored another 9 games. Pitfall, Night Driver, Bezerk (yay extra copy to ebay back now), tennis, missile command, tele games 112 (label version with no photo), skiing, outlaw (label version with no photo, and 27 telegames (label version with no photo). All 9 for 1 dollar and 95 cents plus 7 dollars and 48 cents shipping. So cool.

BTW, what game is 27 telegames?

It's Tank Plus. Tank Plus is Sears' version of Combat. Same exact game, just a different name.

BTW: Telegames 112 is Space Invaders

Yes I already have space invaders. Btw which combat is worth more. Label version or 27 telegames version of combat. Have to decide which to keep and which to get rid of or re-ebay.

The Sears Telegames version was only sold in the United States, which may make it (marginally) more desirable to international collectors.
