Hello,

 

I am DrFloyd from the french videogame website GAMOPAT. Perhaps you know Bomb on Pixel City on PC, iPhone and Atari 2600 ????

 

Here is the name of my new homebrew : CRASH TIME PLUMBER, relating to the video crash of 1983... and a tribute to Donkey Kong....

What a cool concept! What other levels/features are you planning?

It's a real retro videogame concept... Gameplay, only gameplay, with scoring. Not need lot of levels & features....

 

There are 10 levels... 9 heros to save.... and a final boss

I don't see any connection to the downturn of the video game industry (in gameplay). Seems more like a retro homage.

 

..which is not a bad thing! Just, it feels like there could have been some gameplay mechanics directly related to the reasons things turned bad before Nintendo.
