BillyHW #26 Posted February 25, 2013 That sucks. Not only is whoever bought it dumb, but it gives credibility to the whacked-out price the store was asking. They'll jack up other things like that, knowing it really *is* worth that much to some sucker out there. And you just know the guy would never resell it until he was offered something higher, no matter how long that takes.
0078265317 #27 Posted March 5, 2013 I just came back from disc replay. Just to double check. And a few other things. He said the turtles in time sold online. So somebody did buy it looks like. I still can't believe somebody paid 70 dollars for that. Even with manual and no box.
DestinedCruz #28 Posted March 5, 2013 I agree with everybody else here. It's really easy to find and it's priced like that just due to popularity. There's at least three copies at various stores in the town I live in alone, ranging from $30 to $40. Popular SNES games have such artificial values right now. The store I work at alone has three copies of Link to the Past right now, and they're all at the amazon $28, but we sell/get them consistently. On the flip side, actual rare gems like Brain Lord are going for ridiculously low prices just because people don't know the name off hand. I just bought one CIB in town for $18, and a CIB Run Saber for $30.
Austin #29 Posted March 13, 2013 I think as the years go on and more reviews are posted about it, Run Saber is going to jump in price. It's a really cool game that pretty much nobody played.
DestinedCruz #30 Posted March 13, 2013 Yeah it's fantastic. Like a far more stylish Strider with 2-player coop. What's not to like?
