amiman99 #1 Posted February 22, 2013 I'm trying to run EmuTOS on A1000, but I noticed that I only have around 256Kb of ST-RAM left with 1.5Mb of FAST-RAM. Anyone know how to enable the programs to use that FAST-RAM, is there a utility that will merge the two RAMS together into one RAM pool? Thanks
moulinaie #2 Posted February 22, 2013 Hello, There i a little program for TT to set the "FastRam" flags for an executable. You'll find it here: http://www.umich.edu/~archive/atari/Tt/flgset.lzh But not all programs can work with the FastRam. Just try it! Guillaume.

amiman99 #7 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) where can we get EmuTOS to try on an A1000? I would like to give it a go. To get some software to work on A1000 you need to get the Atari ST sw linked by moulinaie in previous post. You need to patch the PRG to allow use of FAST RAM, otherwise you get not enough RAM error or just crash. On A1000 there is only about 256Kb of RAM left after the boot.
