What are your favorite options for MEGAMANIA

I know that, for one thing, MegaMania (for the Atari 2600 of course) has an option where the bullets can follow your ship, or will shoot straight up even if your ship moves. IIRC, you can also set it so that you can keep the button pressed and fire automatically, or single shot. What are your favorite options for this vastly under rated game? And the game number, too if you remember it! Thanks!

I wouldn't call it underrated.. I would say it was one of the higher profile VCS games for it's time.

 

My preference is automatic firing & steerable bullets!

^{Well, there are those who say that Megamania is a "clone" of the game "Astro Blaster" (though this is debatable), so if that is true, then your preferences would make Megamania more faithful to the arcade, yes.}
