SmileyDude #1 Posted February 24, 2013 Does anyone know where a PDF version of Inside Atari DOS could be found? There is an HTML copy at http://www.atariarchives.org/iad/, but I was hoping for a scanned PDF version to show up somewhere.
+wood_jl #2 Posted February 26, 2013 Wow, I was going to get it for you, and when I searched my "archives," I found that I didn't have it! I think I have a "real" copy somewhere at my folks' house, which isn't any help. There were a couple of large Atari 8-bit Book torrents, and this one was missing. Most of the stuff from the torrents is available on http://www.atarimania.com/documents-atari-400-800-xl-xe-books_1_8.html and Inside Atari DOS is not there, either! I guess this is harder than I thought, too. Anybody?

+Allan #4 Posted February 26, 2013 I'll scan mine in the next couple of days and post it to Atarimania. Allan
+Allan #5 Posted February 26, 2013 I just finished it and uploaded it. My Internet got cut off so the smaller one is corrupt. Just need to wait for somebody at Atarimania to get a chance to post it into the book section. Allan

+Allan #8 Posted February 26, 2013 Your welcome. That was an easy one. The shiny paper books are the hardest. I'm starting on one of the PILOT manuals and I am going to have to use the flat bed vs. the feeder because the pages keep dragging in the feeder causing the page to stretch. +wood_jl #9 Posted February 26, 2013 Allan, once again, you're an outstanding fellow and great asset to the Atari community! Thanks!!!
+Allan #10 Posted February 26, 2013 Allan, once again, you're an outstanding fellow and great asset to the Atari community! Thanks!!! Well I'm not a hardware guy at all and only have dabbled with programming. So this is my way of contributing. Just wish I could get myself to focus more on learning assembly. morelenmir #12 Posted March 26, 2013 Many thanks from me too sir!!! A fascinating book. I've done a bit of scanning myself and it is NEVER straight forward - even if you end up having to dissect the book.
