Atari Paddle Box problem

Recommended Posts

a while back I bought a set of paddles that were in their original, opened box. I am organizing and cleaning things out of my room, and I have decided to put all of my boxes up on a shelf to show them off better, but I cannot figure out how to close this box.

can someone show me how this box closes?

I've never seen the original box for paddles. Well, maybe when I was 8, but that's been quite a while. :) Someone may know, but some pics would be great!

I guess my phone uploaded only one picture, because this is the only one that shows up..

Just a guess...is it possible that the large flap is meant to be tucked inside the box before the paddles are put in, and its folded up to form a kind of shelf for the paddles to sit on? Then it would be out of the way for the remaining flaps to close the box as normal.

Sawdust is right. It folds inside, like you can see in the first picture (sorry for the bad quality). In the second picture you can see the little cut in the inside cardboard, where the little flap tucks in.

I always had the paddles in the bottom, then the cord feeds up the inside and is coiled to be rested on the folded part (like a shelf) inside the box as seen in karokoenig's pics.

Nevermind, My box is different. That flap doesn't fold in like that on mine
