It's coming! Whatever the heck "It" is!

No, it's a new air freshener to hide the stench of DRM since everyone can smell a rat.

Well, they had to do something to compete with the new XBOX that must be attached to the internet.

After all, you can't let your competition one up you!

Clearly some half baked promotion to create buzz for what will ultimately be a product that wasn't worth paying real advertising dollars for.

:)

After looking at it a while, it's not the egg that is important, it's what's inside.

So clearly it must be an electronic pet chicken!

That thing is a PS4? Snicker snicker snicker. Boy, that seems to say that Sony's laying an egg (a really bad one) with that game system design.

Well IIRC the advertisements for PS9 show that it comes in an egg and the spores insert through the nose. Perhaps this is the first segue from the old consoles, to the new internal models. The PS4 while uncomfortable at first, will be inserted anally. This of coarse isn't much of a stretch, as Sony customers have been taking it up the tailpipe for years. At least when it fails, you can just poop it in to the toilet and flush. That way it will get back to Sony at the sewer plant for repairs.

At least (at the time) the PS9 commercial was cool and somewhat offbeat. The first time I saw it, I was pretty impressed and even chuckled at the clever and imaginative marketing. Without me ever bring it up, I found other people mentioning the commercial in casual conversation, even plenty of women.

How far Sony has fallen :(

Apparently not far enough. If you know Japanese this interview is interesting:

Apparently they're getting excited about making you use your real name for your online activities! Yay!

Don't worry, even if the TOS won't let you sue them they'll never get hacked or misuse your data, right?
