Has anyone ever figured exactly how many A8 carts were rereleased in the gray XEGS shell? I'm starting to collect these and I'd like to know how many games were released like this aside from the unique blue label XE releases.

Here's a list of XEGS carts. Doesn't have color of cart. Total 32 carts released for XEGS.

Hmm,

 

I do not have a complete list, but there are some re-releases of Atari 800 and XL carts in the grey XE/XEGS cases with grey/silver label (instead of the usual blue label), e.g.

 

- Pole Position

- Millipede

- Tennis

- Final Legacy

- Football

- Moon Patrol

- Jungle Hunt

- Donkey Kong Junior

- Joust

 

there are also re-releases of 800/XL carts in the grey cases and with blue labels however, e.g.

- Donkey Kong

- Eastern Front

 

Last not least, lots of Atari 800 carts with black or brown labels can be found as Atari XL carts with silver labels.
