Mark Wolfe #19 Posted April 2, 2013 I know this guy, he is not here to just sell, he is taking part in atariage as a new member and will be here long past his selling off this current bit of his collection, he's getting his feet wet... he'll figure it out, give him some time to figure things out and figure out how to blend with the variety of personalities we have here... we are an pretty eclectic bunch, different things piss people off in different ways around here.... he's anxious to sell because he's low on funds, we've ALL been there... he has great stuff for sale and eventually he will find a suitable buyer here, I'm sure of it. he won't bump anymore, I don't think he'll need to anyway, he has top notch stuff. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

NorfolkState2003 #21 Posted April 3, 2013 necessary bump and final bump from me on this: I agree with Tempest here, he is here as a moderator to try to keep things under control, and I think we as a community need to follow a rule here that should be a requirement. If we as individual members have a problem with any of our own members, we need to take the time to PM the person involved. I do not like being called out like any other person, it could have been done very easily through PM in house, that was not followed, then other people see this and decide to give their opinions, that should not have happened, that could have also been done via PM. We have PM as an option folks, lets use it if we have any problems. I am a brand new member of AA, and I have enjoyed my experiences until today. I am a little bit upset about this because we are all adults, we know how to talk to others, if we have a problem we take the matter privately. I would not have gotten upset if this was followed and some of you that did that are also just as new as me, and I dont seem them getting talked to the same way as I am on this. I took the advice from Tempest very seriously and carefully, was not aware of the unwritten rules on bumping, because I am a member of only a few days and was never aware of such a rule. Now, let me sell and contribute like the rest of the members here and if there is still any conflict, please use the PM, if you dont, you are as in violations of any rules as I was today. I hope this was said in an adult manner and can be understood by everyone and anyone. Thank you for listening, and for the people that refuse to acknowledge this message, there is an ignore button, just ignore me and go along with your day. I hope to not have to write messages like this in the future, I really like AA, and want to be a member for a very long time to come, but this needs to stop. Thanks again!
