5200 craigslist lot,questions.

Got a pretty good craigslist haul yesterday.

mostly got it for the Wico controllers,

what are the switch's on the sides for?

notice the included Mario game.

when an analog joystick has self centering it needs to have calibration because of component differences

Ohhh,so I slide those switches on the side of the controller till they center the crosshairs in middle command? So there for calibration purposes. I've been playing mountain king and Mario Bros mostly.

I'm really impressed with the picture quality of the 5200. I gotta get some more games for it,

River raid and pitfall 1 and 2 are at the top of my list.

The "slide switches" are not really switches, just an adjustment to each potentiometer position inside. You can calibrate the left right control in the Galaxian game. When set correctly, the left and right extremes of the joystick will make the shooter slide across faster.
