Just found this. Looks cool. But he is asking too much in my opinion. And all offers have been declined. So what would be a reasonable offer. Or is 1240 not too much.

Personally I think 1240 is too much. If the appearance was more in keeping with Atari's historic industrial design it might go for what he is asking. Some time and effort was definitely put into that project, but IMO the results demand no more than 500... with 700 being extremely generous to show appreciation for the "artistic effort."

Ben Heck units sell for $400, sometimes less. This may be a nicer unit than some of his, but it's not an $800 more nicer unit.

Is Ben still making portable 2600s? I've been thinking about buying one to test games in the wild. One Atlantis II monogrammed Spacechase would more than pay for the unit.

Ouch! What an eyesore! That has to be one of the ugliest things Ive ever seen. The irony is that it looks like a lot of work went into it and the workmanship looks quite good, but the design and aesthetics - barf-o-rama...
