A look at my NES modded controller for Sega Genesis

Something kinda interesting for you guys to check out - I dismantled a Genesis controller, and did some Frankenstein voodoo magic to interface it's digital multiplexer with a NES dogbone controller. The results? An NES controller that works with the Sega Genesis, Master System, Atari 2600, and more!

I have a original style NES controller I made work for Atari 2600. Just desolder the chip inside and wire the buttons to the right pinout on a DB9 cable and boom. I recommend doing so for use with the Atari. so much better. I didn't bother with the multiplexer stuff because I don't have a genesis anymore.

This is pretty cool. I do love the small sega brand 6-button though. Especially since I love street fighter. I agree the 3 button is nasty but the 6-button is quite comfy.

It did lead to the model 2/Japanese Saturn controller afterall.

Would it be possible to go the other way? I have a Sega Arcade stick I would love to use on my NES.
