Points are earned depending on how you place on the leaderboard to determine a champion at the end of the season! Altered Beast "Wise Fwom Yo Gwave!" Altered Beast was originally a pack-in when the Mega Drive was released in the United States. For those of you who haven't played this one before, that's right The House of Sonic originally tried to launch with this game. The arcade original was something but this port really only rides on the nostalgia of fans who owned it back in the day. darthkur Posted April 27, 2013 Share Posted April 27, 2013 122,500 Never been very good at this game. This port of it anyway, with it's lack of continues. The Hard setting made it even more impossible to get past the second boss. Afterward, just for the fun of it, I set it back to normal and maxed out the power and lives and finally made it to board 4. I have a busy day tomorrow and I work overnight so I won't be getting much sleep. Will probably end up crashing at some point and sleeping until Monday afternoon lol.
