"TRON" star to appear at PhillyClassic 2003!

I heard that the female lead of the classic TRON movie, Cindy Morgan, is scheduled to appear at PhillyClassic this year! I'm going to bring my TRON carts, etc., for her to autograph!

 

Does anyone know if Ms. Morgan is going to be in TRON 2.0?

Consider this rumor confirmed. I've shared e-mails with Cindy and her agent and it's more-or-less a certainty that Cindy will be attending and signing autographs and such.

 

I would expect her to be charging for autographs but I don't know for sure.

 

And no, she won't be wearing the Tron gear.

We had a discussion about that in Off-Topic a while back, where it turned out some executive producer or someone just pretty much started the rumor to try to build up fan interest in a sequel he wanted to do, as Disney owns the rights to it, and the last I heard, there was nothing on their website about it and they wouldn't comment on it. I haven't heard anything confirming either way if it's really supposed to be out or not, maybe you should try asking Ms. Morgan about it ('course maybe she won't know either).

 

Anyway, Tron rocked! They got robbed of the Oscar nomination for Best Special Effects! (It might not've won anyway, but just the nomination would've been nice.)

Sorry for not being clearer before... "TRON 2.0" is a video game that is coming for sure. Its almost done. So, I was asking if Cindy Morgan was going to make an 'appearance' of some kind (maybe only in voice?) in the new game.

 

(Of course, I'd love to see a new TRON movie too!)

I didn't realize/know that until quite recently (got Caddyshack on DVD for Christmas). I was a bit surprised.
