Arkanoid strange issue

I recently got an original Arkanoid disk for my STE. Disk loads fine but once I get to the game, I can press 1 to start a one player game but moving the mouse will not move the "spaceship".

 

I know for sure that the mouse is working fine. Even more weird is the fact that I also got this same game as a image in my ultrasatan and when I load it from there the mouse works fine.

 

Any ideas?

This is pretty much known problem. Original has bad, primitive mouse code, what works only on TOS 1.00 .Diverse cracks, fixes for hard disk have diverse corrections of this problem.

No, unless you are expert in Atari ST programming.

Instead it, get some crack - there is a lot on WEB.

Thanks. As i mentioned I already have a cracked image but I was trying to get the original disk to work. It's a shame that it can't be done. Thanks anyway guys

Get PLM's SELTOS from his page and load up TOS v1.0 and see if it works then.
