BaymenCoach #1 Posted April 18, 2013 New to the Colecovision world and was wondering if anyone has ever dealt with Classic Game Source Inc? Ebay listing claims that they are selling UK versions of Coleco games and they are not the CBS versions. Parker Bros games come in brand new, coleco style cartridge cases, not the standard Parker Bros ones. Also labels are also brand new as if they were just printed. Are these homebrew games advertised as UK games or are they legit? Any info on these would be greatly appreciated. ColecoDan #2 Posted April 19, 2013 they bought all the remaining inventory from telegames uk when they decided to stop selling these games. So I guess you could say they are authentic telegames versions which created their own labels and games. Some stock could be from leftover colecovision stock. Jaymiester #3 Posted April 19, 2013 My experience with them has always been good. They ship quickly and items are just as described in their listings. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again in the future. You can also buy directly from their website.
chuckwalla #4 Posted April 19, 2013 I had good experiences buying from them. I bought a bunch of CV carts from them many years ago with no problem and a lot (six actually) of new 6-button Genesis controllers too.
Manoau2002 #5 Posted April 19, 2013 Three out of the four carts I bought from them didn't work. I would spend a couple dollars more and buy official releases.
nanochess #6 Posted April 19, 2013 I think that the prices for CIB look pretty interesting
BaymenCoach #7 Posted April 19, 2013 Thanks for everyone's input on this. Think I would rather have the genuine copies of the games. Guess that I will replace them and sell these copies off in the future.
