xDragonWarrior
With the next Xbox coming and it's feature to block used games, will that somehow affect the prices of the games when the next generation(9th) comes around?.Any game new whether recently released, fairly new,a few years old(2-3.4-5),or an older game is always more than the game used (even if it's only a few dollars more). So because the games have to be new in order to be played, will they be more than the average game after the next generation hits or because they have to be new will that change because of it?.There's not that many sealed games for older consoles(before the Wii) so the Durango will be no exception,so will that make the prices rise or what? +wood_jl
Obviously, the trend of charging $60 for an incomplete game - and requiring online payment to unlock the rest of the game - is going to be the solution to the "used game problem." This business model has been widely-deployed, and the market obviously is accepting of it. Unless there are brain-dead personnell at the Xbox division (perhaps transfers from the Windows 8 team) then I think they know this. Games will be (as they are now) sold incomplete, and the "missing/extra" content sold later. Locked to the individual console. Voila! Profit from "used" games! I can't believe "the industry" got so greedy as to raise suspicions of anything more (further ripoff) which clearly won't be tolerated by the marketplace.
