Has anybody ever been to this event? I don't live too far out from Columbus (at least, compared to most classic gaming conventions), and I was thinking of taking a day-off on the Friday to make the trip. If I am told it's at least as half as big as MWGC, I'll consider it worth it.

I've been a couple of times; it's seems to be growing bigger. Admission price is a little higher, with addition of "early bird special" entry fee this time.

 

Last time I went (a couple of shows ago), it was maybe 1/3 the size of the CCAG Cleveland show with maybe 20 or so vendors (must be more now since he says they have about 20 tables left to sell).

 

I'm not sure of any specific benefits of intentionally spending Friday night in Columbus, but the show sounds like fun to me. I'll most likely go.

Plus it's in a waterpark, so there's that.

 

I've sold at a few, and it's gotten bigger each time.

Last year's show was at least twice as big as CCAG, it is now the largest show in the region, and actually has the space to grow more.
