One of the purposes of this poll is to see if anyone is still using the Expansion Module Interface on the ColecoVision for items like:

  1. Expansion Module #1 Atari 2600 adapter.

  2. Expansion Module #3 the Adam Computer.

I am currently using the 2600 adapter for all of my 2600 gaming. My light sixer has video problems that I need to work out. I do not have either the Adam module or an Adam itself.

I am using my Expantion # 1 Atari adaptor untill the Super Game Mod gets here, than that little SMG is staying at home in my YurkieVision and never coming out. I will just use my Atari 2600 console on a different plug in.

I use the 2600 adapter...and the SGM...takes about 5 seconds to switch them out.

I do have probably 30 or 40 CIB atari games that I got when I had atari adapter in the 80's. Main reason was my parents could still by atari games when they couldn't find colecovision games anymore.

However my atari games are not even shelved with my colecovision collection they are in a box in the basement. Have not even plugged in my atari adapter to see if it still worked.

The weird thing is I actually did buy the homebrew bolder dash Atari game here on Atariage because I thought I would never find one for colecovision and bamb a little after I bought the atari one a colecovision one came up for sale and I won it.

Still haven't actually tried to play the atari one on my atari adapter since the colecovision one came around the same time and I only played that one..

Yes I use the coleco ADAM Expansion #3 Module actively. Very cool. The printer is actually quite convenient if you just have to type a quick note and not power on the windows and wait for 3-5 minutes.

It's the simple things in life... like turning on a computer and immediately being able to use it instead of waiting for a couple minutes for the system to boot-up.

Been keeping out the EM for 2600 so I can leave my Inty or TG16 in my other R/F jack. I have been thinking of getting a composite mod 7800 lately so I wouldn't need the EM.

My EM is pretty nasty. I need to pop the hood and clean it out. I'm fascinated by the ADAM expansion and vaguely have plans to buy one some day but 8-bit computers were before my time and I'm afraid if I bought one, it'd just be a space taker.

I use the Expansion Module #1 and #3 with a ColecoVision only for testing purposes to make sure the Expansion Interface & Module are all in working order. Other than that, I never use them.

I've borrowed an XM1 for the time being. If the ColecoVision is out and I have a hankering for a 2600 game, I use the XM1. Of course, that's true for any backward compatible system I own. If I'm on the 7800, then I play 2600 games on my 7800. If I'm on the CV, they're played on that. If I sit down to play strictly 2600 games, I'll probably use a 2600.

I don't own any form of the Adam computer.

I sold my Atari 2600 Jr with 15 games just because I have the Expansion Module 1 where I play and test my Atari collection, though I still have a Atari 2600A that I don't use.

My SGM is permanently attached to my Colecovision and is never moving, so no other expansions for me :-D

I have 4 Atari 2600's that I can use if I want to play a 2600 game ;)

I use Expansion Module #1 for all my Atari 2600 gaming. The reason for this is my CV is A/V modded, where my 2600 systems are not.
