Eric7100
I am the guy who has been bugging IntellivisionDude to do this video. Thank you, Dude, for honoring my request. Now, everybody WATCH this video! And when you're done, PLAY the game! (Watch out for the annoying "Saturn" thing!) TrickyMoon
watching 2 minutes of that brought back all those frustrating feelings I had when I was younger playing that... that could be one of my lowest rated intellivision games.

Zendocon
Okay, is that a variation of the Spiker box I've never seen before in another territory, or am I overdue for a vacation?
Intelligentleman
He summed up the main problem with that game. Using the side buttons for primary "navigation" is rubbish and painful. Maybe it plays better on pristine controllers that still have a good "click" to the buttons?
Intelligentleman
honestly, I feel like if they had just inverted the controls so that the disc was for movement and the fire buttons for shooting, it would have dramatically improved the gameplay. In theory there's nothing wrong with the concept of the original control scheme, but in practice, it doesn't lend itself very well to sustained play. mr_me
Since you can't aim with the side buttons they'd have to redesign the game. As it is you have to fire at the enemies, wherever they are, to protect your energy block. Might work with a dual disc control scheme. I'd just put the move left function to the upper buttons.
