Cybearg #1 Posted May 2, 2013 (edited) When I try to open the Music/Sound Editor (the one that looks like a musical keyboard), I get an error: I'm not aware of having done anything that would cause something to change that could have resulted in a crash. Any idea what's wrong? Continue prevents vbB from crashing, but the music/sound editor still does not come up. Edited May 2, 2013 by Cybearg
+Gemintronic #2 Posted May 2, 2013 Have you tried going to the VisualbB downloads and putting a fresh copy of the Soundlibs back into the VisualbB folder?
+Random Terrain #3 Posted May 2, 2013 Are you sure you're using the right sound library with the right version of VbB? If you download any version of VbB without downloading the accompanying sound library that goes with that specific version, there can be problems. Cybearg #4 Posted May 2, 2013 That was it. The Soundlib wasn't there. Weird... Wonder how it vanished.
+Gemintronic #5 Posted May 3, 2013 That was it. The Soundlib wasn't there. Weird... Wonder how it vanished. You may have forgot it last time you tried uninstalling/reinstalling/overinstalling bB. Your file system could be corrupt and needs to have "chkdsk /f c:" performed on it. You could have performed "chkdsk /f c:" and since the Soundlib file was corrupt it renamed it file0001.chk
