Beware Jag Owners - Ebay scamming

Recommended Posts

Not doubting you. How does one prove that he's using shill accounts? I'd like to identify these kinds of shenanigans myself.

If you click on the shill accounts bid's you will see they are all with this seller. Also, if you check the items they won, they are all items he sold and they were all re-listed later. He's been using these same acounts for a while now.

With that kind of evidence, I would think reporting them to ebay and having them shut down would be easy, or does ebay not care?

Try to do business with Americans. Once these guys get your money overseas, its hard to get back I hear. But yeah what a jackass.

Looks like the Skunkboard was ended early "no longer available". His shill account won the copy of Atari Karts. I expect it to be offered to the next highest bidder or to be listed again.

Inner Grammar Nazi: Shouldn't the thread title be "Beware, Jag Owners - eBay Scamming"? As it is, it's telling us to beware of Jaguar owners, not to beware of eBay scammers.

Didn't someone from up north (I think it was Durham) get done for selling via shill accounts on ebay (I think he got a 50K fine or something)
