nanochess #1 Posted May 12, 2013 Hi everybody. I've got recently this bunch of Atari cartridges at a weird store in Mexico. I took the rarest (I think ) everything for $41, three were Intellivision but look nice. I believe that Atari Video Cube and the two Konamis paid for all, also I got some V cases, some pirates (one of these in its box) Still I don't have tested the cartridges as just I've finished cleaning them.
nanochess #2 Posted May 12, 2013 By the way, the ones without a visible title are: V-Cases: Enduro, 32 in 1 game and Bowling. And the other two are Crose Forcy (battleship) and Barzack (princess). And unfortunately just I've noted that Centipede and War Lords are missing the top label.
CPUWIZ #3 Posted May 12, 2013 Nice score, the most rare in my opinion, is the Chinese multi-cart. I don't think I have ever seen another one, but mine.
nanochess #4 Posted May 13, 2013 Well, just I've tested each cartridge, I had to clean the PCB connector of some several times. Almost everything worked with exception of Normandy Landing, and I don't have a way to test the Intellivision cartridges, but them look so nice! @CPUWIZ, the Chinese 32 in 1 multi-cart has a modified Donkey Kong, but instead of a gorilla appears a big smiling bunny, that was so fun! The V case 32 in 1 changes game on each turn on/off, I never have seen before the game of Baby Go Home.
Foxsolo2000 #5 Posted May 13, 2013 I would say Cobra 104 is the rarest myself. Only ever owned one and it took me a long time to find it
Rom Hunter #6 Posted May 13, 2013 (edited) Nice score. That Taiwan - Yellow Title Fishing and the Pigs in Space are by far the rarest. Would like to hav a good scan of these for the Atarimania database. Edited May 13, 2013 by Rom Hunter
Lentzquest #7 Posted May 13, 2013 What game is just to the left of Pigs in Space? I love the cover art.
nanochess #8 Posted May 13, 2013 I would say Cobra 104 is the rarest myself. Only ever owned one and it took me a long time to find it Also it was the only one in the two big bags of cartridges. Besides it is very fun Nice score. That Taiwan - Yellow Title Fishing and the Pigs in Space are by far the rarest. Would like to hav a good scan of these for the Atarimania database. You can count with them. Also I've checked that Crose Forcy isn't listed in Atarimania What game is just to the left of Pigs in Space? I love the cover art. Yes, it looks nice. The top says Barzack, it is just a clone of Berzerk, ironically a game where doesn't appear never a princess.
nanochess #9 Posted May 13, 2013 Talking about that. The Pigs in Space cartridge has missing the top label.
Rom Hunter #10 Posted May 20, 2013 (edited) Could be a self-made label. Never seen this label type before. Could you post a front scan of that 32 in 1 cart? I think it's different from the one in our database. Edited May 20, 2013 by Rom Hunter
nofrills100 #11 Posted May 20, 2013 Rom, I'm on my mobile so can't post pics. But the fro t of the 32in1 is the cartridge sitting directly above the bowling v-case in nanochess' images
nanochess #12 Posted May 21, 2013 Could you post a front scan of that 32 in 1 cart? I think it's different from the one in our database. I'll make a scan in a few days.
Rom Hunter #13 Posted May 21, 2013 Thanks! Would also like to have a scan of the front of the 32 in 1 of which you posted the back some days ago.
nanochess #14 Posted May 21, 2013 Well, I've played with my scanner settings to get the clearest/brightest pictures. First the 32 in 1 V-case cartridge: Now the 32 in 1 with switches. If I remember right the switches are configured for the Donkey Kong hack that instead of a gorilla has a big smiling rabbit. In both cases, top letters have its bottom towards back of cartridge.
