Let's play Intellivision eBay "I spy"

Recommended Posts

I'm fairly bored at the moment and while I was about to create the largest collection thread post I've ever made, I decided to wait for something else to arrive before I do so, so in the meantime I thought we could start an Intellivision version of "I spy".

The rules are simple, find a unique Intellivision auction on any eBay and post clues about it and the winner gets to create the next search (and maybe Rev sends them a button or an INTV2 for their trouble :-D ).

I'll go first....there is currently a sealed single game on one of the Euro eBay sites that while a bit overpriced, is verrrrrry hard to find. In fact, I wasn't sure it actually existed until I found one last year for about half the price of this one.

Let the guessing begin.....if no one is getting close I can add more clues. (you must post the link as opposed to just guessing at the title).

Engage.

So it can potentially be over by the time someone guesses it.. ?

In theory, although I would just accelerate the clues....that said, I didn't have to....mojo FTW!!!!

Nicely done! Mojo you get to choose the next one.

If you knew Rev then you should have played the game! So, when you I get my INTV2 and/or button?) :D

I'll start looking for the next one...

I spy...

In one of the Euro ebay sites there is a complete in box localized variant of a very common game. But this is not your typical variation.. if you look at the parts they don't look like the typical international version...

Take your guesses by posting the link. Good luck!

Good guesses Ignorama, but not it.... I'll wait for a couple of more guesses if nobody gets it for a clue.

Mattel International boxes can be identified by the slots in the back for the instructions. If you can't see the back there are two other ways to identify them. The box for this auction doesn't belong.

Side question....I don't surf international eBays, but I probably should. How many countries have them (or what are the main ones I should follow for Intellivision games), and do you need to sign up for each individually or are they linked to USA eBay?

Jason, a piece of advice if I may before you embark on this dangerous path.......turn back, turn back now. :)
