Pools of Darkness on C64?

Recommended Posts

IIRC, the C64 had Pool of Radiance, not Pools of Darkness. I don't remember that one ever making its' way to the c64.

Pools of Darkness was never released for the C=64.

SSI stopped supporting the C=64 before the last few games came out. The C=64 also never got Dark Queen of Krynn which really slagged me off at the time because I had my Death Knights party maxed out sitting on a disk ready to go :(

Pools of Darkness, Dark Queen of Krynn, Treasures of the Savage Frontier, and Matrix Cubed never came out on the C-64.

Back in the day I had an Apple II so I only got Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds, and Champions of Krynn (which amazingly is two more than the Atari ST got). Curse for the Apple was almost impossible to find, I looked for that everywhere back then but only recently got it.

I recall a bug in Dark Queen which prevented me from finishing the game. Can't remember what it was...I was upset because I finished Champions and Death Knights and never completed the 'trilogy'.

I plan on playing through them all on my Amiga, as it was the only system other than the PC to get all the games (well not Matrix Cubed, but I don't care about that one).

I'm still recovering from a 5:00am coding bender. I didn't see the C64 reference on the Wikipedia link provided..

It did when I looked. Click on View History in the top-right corner and you'll see:

02:32, 19 May 2013 173.65.217.18 (talk) . . (10,816 bytes) (-18) . . (Remove Commodore 64 from the releases list, this games was NOT released for the C64 as SSI had ceased C=64 development by this time.) (undo)
