Controller Help...

Picked this up at goodwill for 1 dollar yesterday. But I don't recognize it. It has 9 pins but doesn't look like any atari or commodore controller I've seen.

Looks like the second controller for one of those Famiclones, similar to the Power Player.

The style looks new, what do the buttons say on them? Famiclones and NESclones usually use NES style controllers and that isn't the correct shape. I'm a newb here but 9 pin usually means old computer (Commodore), Sega, or Atari. The Commodore did have a few choices in gamepads almost a decade later in the bargain stores but they didn't look anything like that.

 

My gut tells me that controller is new but it makes no sense to me. Can't be NES or SNES, one too many buttons for Genesis, two for Atari 7800.

I forgot about that. It works in my mega joy. But only certain games as first player and the rest all second player. And doesn't start the game. Only from the main unit. But at least some works as 2 player now. So good enough.
