Brad2600 #1 Posted May 29, 2013 Unfortunately, not for sale. But the shop they're at has a mini museum type of thing that also includes an older Apple MacIntosh and IBM computer as well. Pic quality isn't the best but the computers themselves are solid.
almightytodd #2 Posted May 29, 2013 ...Reminds me of the scene in "Back to the Future II" when Marty walks past an antiques store and they have a Macintosh in the window...
Hatta #3 Posted May 29, 2013 I've actually been to a museum, IIRC the county museum in Salina KS, that had a mac on display as a historical piece. I don't even think it was an original, it was a Mac Classic.
jhd #4 Posted May 29, 2013 Cool! I don't recall having ever see an original PET or Lisa, even on display in a museum. The TRS-80 Model III brings back memories; I last used one in about Grade 7 (1983/84). The school system had only a single disk drive, and we also used cassettes to save BASIC programs as the media was much cheaper. One of my friends (who later went on to complete a B.SC. in Computer Science) wrote a handful of games for it; mostly text based. We fantasized about developing a Space Invaders clone, but we lacked the skill (and the stock graphics hardware was too limited).
