Rev #51 Posted December 19, 2013 How much? I'll take a couple.
+grips03 #52 Posted December 19, 2013 How much? I'll take a couple. I'm not sure. Let me make one more and price it up. This one will have a custom PCB vs. using proto board. Should I stick with SMS or make it so a NeoGeo AES stick can be used? NeoGeo stick would allow button 3 and some additional features, like using 4-way gate. +intvsteve #53 Posted December 19, 2013 Maybe interested, depending on price.

+grips03 #56 Posted December 19, 2013 (edited) Should I stick with SMS or switch to NeoGeo? SMS - has db9, supports SMS with two buttons, 3rd button is pressing 1+2 at the same time. Would work with Atari 2600, but not with Atari 7800 NeoGeo - uses db15 port, supports 3 independent buttons (ABC) + pause (select) + Enter (start) + whatever you tell me to make "D" button. most likely around $90 It kind of breaks down like: case $10 (screws, case, rubber feet) cable to Intv $10 wall type power supply $10 pcb $10 electronic parts (chips, fuse, power switch, inductor, etc) $10 db9/15 ports, panels and screws = $20 ( I use TE plastic / gold connectors due to bling factor) hot glue, solder, wire $5 sticker $2 PP fees $3 Labor $10 Edited December 19, 2013 by grips03
BBWW #57 Posted December 22, 2013 Always up for something odd to add. Put me on the list.
Oscar G. #58 Posted December 22, 2013 Thank you. I am definitely interested. I think you should stick to SMS as the controllers are easier to get hold of and there is are some decent Arcade style SMS controllers. By the way, would Megadrive controllers work in the adaptor (they have a third button)? Thanks.
JasonlikesINTV #59 Posted December 22, 2013 What is SMS? I'm assuming some sort of controller pin/plug configuration? Sorry, I really didn't read the thread.
+grips03 #60 Posted December 22, 2013 (edited) What is SMS? I'm assuming some sort of controller pin/plug configuration? Sorry, I really didn't read the thread. Sega Master System = SMS SMS is a two button controller natively for Intv we make 1+2 at the same time = button 3 Edited December 22, 2013 by grips03
+grips03 #61 Posted December 22, 2013 (edited) I need 5 people to commit and then I can start building. Folks who order would would pay right before I send. But please only order if you really want it. Edited December 22, 2013 by grips03
Oscar G. #62 Posted December 22, 2013 As I mentioned before. I am definitely interested in one SMS adapter. I am a big fan of your work. Thanks.
+grips03 #63 Posted December 23, 2013 ok, looks like I have 5 SMS to Intv2/Sears orders do you want keypads built in or connector to plug in Intv2/Sears and use its keypad?
+boxpressed #64 Posted December 23, 2013 Just want to say that I have an early adopter version of this adapter, and it is one of my favorite pieces of my Intellivision collection. A Sega Genesis Power Stick works with it even though it was not made for the SMS. I'm going to try out some wireless Atari or Genesis controllers next. A trackball too, if I can think of a good game for it.
+doctorclu #65 Posted December 24, 2013 I think a Jaguar controller would be a great substitute.

+grips03 #67 Posted December 24, 2013 I think a Jaguar controller would be a great substitute. I think someone else made one of these 6-9 months back
