Chattanooga, TN and North Georgia

If you live in eastern Tennessee or north Georgia or even northern Alabama, heads up. At the Northgate Mall, on hwy 153 in Hixson, TN there is a new game shop. It's huge and has systems from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today. They have a healthy collection of 2600, 5200, 7800, Colecovision, Odyssey 2. And they have an actual 70s style arcade, with about 35 arcade machines set up and ready to play. I was blown away and left smiling. I have to go back this week to pick up some 2600 and 5200 titles, as well as to play Donkey Kong on an actual arcade machine for the first time since the 1980s.

 

I don't recall the name of the shop, but it's all the way down on one end of the mall, next to another retro shop (a record store).
