I have a spare XEGS that I was going to use for a project and that kinda put on the back burner. I have no use for it anymore. The system works well , but has a few cosmedic flaws at the back of the system ( grey plastic shell ) from where I was working on my project. But if you have the trimmings to make this a complete system ( RCA cables, controller a spare power pack , keyboard ) then you could have yourself a really nice system. Ive tested this system out to work fine with no problems.

 

Looking for $30.00 + Shipping ( From zipcode 07676 ) on the console or for a trade for Atari 8bit computer items. Which ever you would prefer to do. Let me know what you would like to do and we can talk it out from there. I prefer to let this go to a good home here than fight with ebay and the fees and all that mess.

Honestly I drilled some holes in the back to link up to another xegs system case to make a laptop. But I don't get very far. Outside of the drilled holes the system hasn't been modified. Still a bone stock xegs.

Is there a compatible AC adaptor and video cord i can salvage from another system?

I can probably pull another video cable for you. you need ust 2 of the 3 RCA cables to hook it up to your TV. one for video other for sound. AC XEGS is a 5volt 1 amp unit. I believe you can use a power adapter from a 65 XE or 130XE . Not sure about which of the XL units you can use But I believe they are compatable . ( please dont hold me to which ones im not sure off the top of my head). But it will need a keyboard.
