Armonigann #1 Posted June 19, 2013 Yeah, random question, but I was counting how many versions/ports of Paperboy I have and Holy Cow... -NES 1 and 2 -Gameboy OG 1 and 2 -Gameboy SP (Pb/Rampage) -SNES pt. 2 -Genny 1 and 2 -GameCube -Sega Master -N64 -Tiger Handheld ...so in all 12 different versions, w/ the Cube being the best, and the SMS being the worst (IMO...cant hit anything!) well, besides the Tiger version. So, yeah..what's the most versions of a game do you have?
Austin #2 Posted June 19, 2013 I don't have a lot of dupes any more, but when I was collecting more I had a few. Arcade compilations aside, I'd say DOOM was the game I had on the most platforms. PC, Jaguar, SNES, 32X, Saturn, PlayStation, XBOX 360, Zodiac, Macintosh, XBOX (via the DOOM Collectors bundle).. I think that's all of them, haha. Gabriel #3 Posted June 19, 2013 I have a minimum of 16 different versions of Pac-Man. Joust isn't far behind with 12 different versions in my possession.

BassGuitari #6 Posted June 20, 2013 Not counting arcade compilations, probably Centipede: Atari 2600 Atari 5200 Atari 7800 Atari 400/800 Intellivision Colecovision TI-99/4a Commodore 64 Apple II But if the old Hockey/Tennis/Smash/Pong dedicated console games count, I've probably got 20 "different" "versions" of those. jaybird3rd #11 Posted June 20, 2013 I'm proud to say that I've assiduously avoided all things Madden, despite the fact that I always find piles of Madden Football for the Genesis in every thrift store I visit, along with Dick Vitale's College Hoops. I think Defender and Robotron are the two games that I have in more different versions than any others. I have Defender for: the 2600, 5200, 400/800, Jaguar (Defender 2000), TI 99/4A, Apple ][, IBM PC, Intellivision, ColecoVision, several commercial emulation compilations, and probably a few others I'm forgetting. I've got almost as many versions of Robotron. I think I ended up with so many of these two titles because, even though they're undisputed arcade classics, I can't play either of them worth a damn and have always wanted to learn. Torr #12 Posted June 21, 2013 (edited) wow... when I look at what I have I have nothing for more than two systems and then, very little for two. I thought I'd have some game spanned across a bunch or something, but nope... Okay, I lied, I have one game on 3 systems. Columns. For SMS/GG/Genesis. Missed it at first cause it's on The Genesis 6-Pak. Edited June 21, 2013 by Torr

Lentzquest #15 Posted June 21, 2013 (edited) Ms. Pac-Man for me. 2600 7800 NES Game Boy Genesis (2) Different Plug & Plays Plus who knows how many Namco Museum compilations, I'm always a sucker for those when I find them cheap. I have them for at least the GBA, PS2, and N64. Second place would probably be Galaga, Pac-man, Mortal Kombat 2, or Zoop. Edit: Does anybody own every version of NBA Jam? I'd love to see all those on display together. Talk about a heavily ported game. Edited June 21, 2013 by Lentzquest

Donkey Kong, Frogger, Defender, Pac-Man, DKJr., Centipede, Robotron, Jungle Hunt, Dig Dug, Miner 2049'er and others I have across a myriad of systems. I love comparing the graphics and different game play between them all. It's difficult to say which one I have the most of. It would take a while to figure it out.
