0078265317 #1 Posted June 27, 2013 I just threw together a quick blog. Kirby now works with gameboy advanced sp. Tilt sensor problem solved. NO need to desolder the chips and turn them upside down. http://kirbyconfirmed.blogspot.com/2013/06/kirby-tilt-and-tumble-for-gameboy.html
MagitekAngel #2 Posted June 27, 2013 Now we just need Game Boy Player support!
0078265317 #3 Posted June 27, 2013 (edited) you can't rock the gamecube side to side so that wouldn't work anyway. Kirby t&t was meant to be a portable game. Edited June 27, 2013 by 0078265317
gorfcadet #4 Posted June 27, 2013 LOL! Why didn't I think of that ages ago! Brilliant!
SSG #5 Posted June 27, 2013 I may have to acquire the game. I already have the Gameshark.
Kulp #6 Posted June 27, 2013 you mean Game Boy Advance?
NE146 #7 Posted June 27, 2013 Nice.. although the slight problem I have with the Gameshark GB device is it makes the pin connections a little more sensitive. i.e. sometimes if the game gets nudged for whatever reason (like if you put the game down on a table), it messes up sometimes. 0078265317 #8 Posted June 27, 2013 @ kupl , what?? Sp not regular advance. regular is on top but sp carts go upside down. @ne146, Just be careful then. Unless you're saying the pins gets messed up as stretched so even with out the shark. Like the original nes with a game genie how it stretches the pins so you can no longer use a game without the genie.
0078265317 #9 Posted June 27, 2013 Or just hold the sp upside down and make the game more challenging.
NE146 #10 Posted June 27, 2013 @ne146, Just be careful then. Unless you're saying the pins gets messed up as stretched so even with out the shark. Like the original nes with a game genie how it stretches the pins so you can no longer use a game without the genie Nah I mean just a physical nudge sometimes can cause the game to freeze/crash. The cart is dangling more or less loose after all onto the gameshark. I know this because I used it in Pokemon pinball to unlock stuff and the long playtime sessions on that, inevitably the Gameshark or the cart in it would get nudged and bam, the game would glitch Just saying. Might just be my gameshark, or cart (both of which I bought new). And of course the answer is "be careful" but it's not all that big a deal at the end of the day. 0078265317 #11 Posted June 27, 2013 Wrap rubber bands around the shark, cart, n=and sp right in the middle and problem solved.
ApolloBoy #12 Posted June 28, 2013 @ kupl , what?? He was talking about how you called it the "Advanced" instead of the correct "Advance".
