+frankodragon #1 Posted June 27, 2013 On a 2600 thread there was mention of spotting an Atari 2600 on a sitcom but I also remember (I could be wrong) there was a 5200 on an episode of Married with Children. The episode was titled, "Naughty but Niece" and the scene was in Bud's room. It looks like 5200 on a dresser or desk in the background with no controllers but headphones are lying on top of it.
VectorGamer #2 Posted June 27, 2013 The episode was titled, "Naughty but Niece" and the scene was in Bud's room. I'm more interested in the episode. What the heck was going on there?

sqoon #4 Posted June 27, 2013 You sure that's a 5200? Looks like it could be a 7800.

jaybird3rd #6 Posted June 27, 2013 Maybe I'm weird, but if I were watching that scene, I wouldn't even have noticed the game console in the background.
Jinks #7 Posted June 28, 2013 What is happening in it? Her right arm looks deformed in the second pic.. Also the 80's wedged up pants are worse.
Video_Invader #8 Posted June 28, 2013 What is happening in it? Her right arm looks deformed in the second pic.. Also the 80's wedged up pants are worse. She was holding something under that arm. Perhaps a pillow? I saw this episode when if first aired many years ago and noticed the 5200. Judging by the lack of money they always had, that's probably how far behind the time they were. Only had beta. Had to go next door for vhs and couldn't afford an NES
sqoon #9 Posted June 28, 2013 What is happening in it? Her right arm looks deformed in the second pic.. Also the 80's wedged up pants are worse. Never occurred to me, but she does look to be the victim of an intense wedgie.
0078265317 #10 Posted June 28, 2013 If you pause the movie at 1 minute and 1 second you can see it. That is when she climbs through the window of his bedroom. Not my video just found this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscreen&v=9MLOx3d0xkI

Charlie_ #12 Posted June 28, 2013 Maybe I'm weird, but if I were watching that scene, I wouldn't even have noticed the game console in the background. Thank you. Just what I was thinking. Especially back when this show was new... Also it can't be a 7800 because it takes up the whole top of the end table.
AtariTexas #13 Posted June 28, 2013 Its not a 7800.......looks to small. The 5200 has its own zip code

jaybird3rd #15 Posted June 28, 2013 Thank you. Just what I was thinking. Especially back when this show was new... Here's another video of the same episode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWrptVAItdc I hadn't heard of her before, but I might just have to add Juliet Tablak to my list of favorite 80s (and early 90s) women! Poor choice of wardrobe, though; those pants would be terribly unflattering on anybody ...

Video_Invader #20 Posted July 1, 2013 Wow, great video! Thanks for sharing. God those 80's/early 90's shorts were awful weren't they? Too bad they don't make them like that now. Nothing on tv worth watching.

Jess Ragan #22 Posted July 2, 2013 They did this a lot on The Drew Carey Show. Most episodes showed a Sega Saturn, then a Dreamcast, on top of Drew's television set. Unfortunately, Drew followed the lead of everyone else and eventually replaced it with a Playstation 2.

almightytodd #25 Posted July 3, 2013 I always liked David Faustino. Kind of a shame he hasn't been able to get any roles since Married with Children... (NSFW) http://www.crackle.com/c/star-ving#id=2431372&ml=o%3D12%26fpl%3D2121375%26fx%3D
